Man accused of breaking into Oakland Police Officer's Association building — Palo Alto Community news

A man broke into the Oakland Police Officer s Association building last month, officials confirmed on Saturday. Investigators say the man stole money from a cabinet. He was caught nearby, allegedly attempting another burglary. According to court documents, the suspect was on probation from burglary convictions last year in Contra Costa County. “This demonstrates, sadly, that no one, not even police officers, is immune to ongoing crime in Oakland,” OPOA spokesman Sam Singer said.
